Orefields has signed a new contract with LKAB for a commission in KUJ.
The new contract concerns shaft renovation, down-reaming for a chute hole and the boring of a rock shaft. The agreement is for two years plus one optional year.
“This is a very important contract for Orefields. Cooperation with LKAB is one of our cornerstones, and it is extremely satisfying to have gained the continued trust of LKAB in assisting them in securing such an important part of the mining company’s production chain,” says CEO Michael Ahlander.
“The agreement means that we can continue on the road Orefields has taken, with a focus on growth and simultaneously maintain an important part of our production on the home front,” Ahlander concludes.
